Who can use the AD-Mini? The AD-Mini (ADm) is a durable multi-rotor unmanned aerial system (UAS) for anyone looking to improve their drone building, repair and maintenance skills, and is interested in flying for recreational use or commercial drone training.

ADm details & what does it include? The ADm is a multi rotor drone first-person-view (FPV) training platform that is Pixhawk based. Includes FPV camera & video transmitter, Pixhawk flight controller, and a drone radio controller.

Where would someone use the AD-Mini?
The ADm is intended to fly outdoors in areas that are safe from flying over people, buildings and other obstacle hazards. Check your local laws on regulations and flying restrictions (i.e. in the U.S., the FAA restricts flying activity within 5 miles near airports, military bases, or national parks, or flying above 400 ft.).

When should someone use the AD-Mini? Flown anytime during daytime hours with fair weather, the ADm should not be used in strong winds, rainy, or snowing conditions. It is not suitable for nighttime use.

Why is the ADm useful or better than its competitors? The ADm is a Pixhawk based flight controller with a proven durable frame design. It has been tested rigorously and proven durable. The ADm can be programmed for mission planning or doing simple flight patterns in drone training and operations.

How does the ADm work? The AD-Mini is powered by a LiPo battery and uses GPS Satellites for guided flight planned missions. The drone can be controlled using either a ground control station or a RC radio controller.

Currently hobbyists do not require a license, however in order to fly for commercial use and earn income, a business owner is required to register their drone(s) with the FAA as well as acquiring an FAA Certified Part 107 License.
